Alethea Gollan

I first joined Suncorp 2 years ago. I had previously been hairdressing for 12 years, so the change of career path was a terrifying concept. I wanted to work for a company that had a core set of values akin to my own and a company that would help me grow in my new role offering me a career, not just a job. My husband worked for Suncorp in the Recoveries department and my brother worked in CTP Claims and they both spoke very highly of Suncorp.

So I started my Suncorp life as a Claims Officer with the Total Loss Motor Claims team and then became the Technical Officer and I am now the Team Leader of the Total Loss and Assessing Support teams.

I am proud to be a part of such a fantastic company and the opportunities and culture it supports. I have an amazing team that are committed to achieving high quality results. It’s rewarding to see my team grow within their roles and assist them in developing their skills.

I love my job and the team of people I work with. It feels great to be able to say that.
